Confused

From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)

I am 25 years old with consistant pelvic pain on the right side. I have been tested for everything under the sun and had numerous ultrasounds showing no cysts. I was told by my doctor that I may have endometriosis due to the fact that I have been on the pill and am still having heavy periods and cramping and the constant pain on the right side. My question is, should I proceed with a Lao and let the doctor go in and look or try other options (of which I have run out of ideas). What if they don't find anything, am I going to look like I made it up in my head to them? Then again, it is my body.
