Re: any else here use marijuana for their symptoms? From: Euphoria (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Sep 17 10:07:15 2002
(I realise this is a very old message I'm replying to, but I'd like to add my 2 cents, even 3 years late ;) ) I use Cannabis to relieve endo symptoms. It does help (by relaxing muscles, I expect). In fact, it's better than any pills from the Dr as it doesn't make me feel sick or dizzy, just relaxed, and helps me to calm down. Once the muscles are relaxed, I feel a lot better. It doesn't work all of the time, certainly, but it's definatley good if you take it while your pains are minimal. For full on I-WANNA-DIE pains, it's not a miracle cure, it just helps a bit. (Obviously the quality of the MJ depends on that). But I am lucky, I have a good friend who can obtain good quality MJ for me, so I don't have to buy it from any strangers. I also take it by the method of a bong, it's easier to inhale and it's better than a joint, because joints tend to have nicotine, which is a No-no. If you can, try it. It is needlessly illegal. I as an endo sufferer fully endorse it, as well as many Cancer and MS suffers also do. Good luck All.
