Hello.. I was not actually on Depo Provera but my best friend was.. and it was horrible.. since the shot that was over two years ago.. She has became depressed and she won't leave her house.. She went to doctors upon doctors and they use to tell her that it was in "her head". She became very ill.. throwing up all the time.. she lost all the calcium in her body.. her teeth started to disinagrate (think that is spelt wrong).. Her hole mouth is now rotten.. I feel very bad for her. She is such a beautiful girl.. With a great big heart. Since she got sick.. i tried to do some research on this shot.. And the things i found were horrible.. I actually did a search threw aol just for types of birth control, and i came across a site called Depo Provera horror stories.. hunderds of ladies wrote in about there expience with this shot.. thanks to that site.. my friend and her doctors came around and noticed that it was not in "her head".. She also has a very large lawsuit against this company.. But I am only one person telling you what happened.. it is all up to you. what you decide.. Research on this shot though before you take it.. kim
