Lauren: For me, evening primrose oil flared my pain (I just wanted to make it clear because I think you misunderstood my message to mean that evening primrose oil helped me, it did not -- it absolutely caused my endo ((and whatever other ailments which flare with estrogen)) pain to flare). As for the herbal meds, I haven't tried any of those -- I feared that some of them may worsen the pain. Anyway, for me, staying away from the items I (and you) mentioned in the previous post AND having the endo excised from a *specialist* proved to be the answer for me. I agree with you re the hormones -- screws up the body and feeds the endo.
