Me tooFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Sep 12 15:23:27 2002
When the pain escalates, my abdomen extends dramatically >(usually over a period of days) and when I sit down I often get this >sharp pain that radiates from my butt to my belly button. Then, as >things worsen, it gets so bad that it hurts the same way even when I >walk (from the jar of putting my foot down), or when I wipe after using >the toilet. I thought no one else experienced this, but now I find that other people do! Yes, I have this during every menstrual period, except that the sharp pains come at any time -- sitting, laying down, standing up, whatever -- and are primarily located in the pelvic region/lower abdomen. I thought it was gas, but I wonder now if it's implants misbehaving. Also have the abdominal distention, which I'm pretty sure is just "bloatation." (I was diagnosed with stage III endo 8 years ago when I was 18.)
