Re: can endo cause depression?

Hi Misty,

There is not someone always at the forum ready to answer questions. That is why there isn't an immediate answer.

I think many women who have endo have had problems with depression. I have too. It is difficult to deal with a chronic disease in which there is no definate cure. Going on for years in pain and dealing with multiple surgeries and/or medications can really bring you down. Some medications can actually cause depression such as BCPs, progesterone, and I would think Lupron too.

I hope this helps. You aren't alone, even though you feel like you are. Hopefully the medication will kick in soon and you will feel better.

Best wishes, D.N.
