Hi, All; I was found out ovary cyst this July, the follow up exam indicates enlarged cysts (5.4 cm) and more complicated appearance in the ovary. They doubt it's a complicated or hemorrhagic cyst or endometrioma cyst.

I here paste the details in the two reports. sorry about the mess. What's the worst case it could happen? On Sep.9, I'm gonna see a OB/GYN, if she suggest to do surgery, should I do it? I am 26, I want to have child in the futre.

Thanks for any comment and suggestion. ---------------------------------- ---- my first altrasound report: ---------------------------------- 1. enlarged left ovary secondary to a hemorrhagic cyst or endometrima. ---------------------------------- Follow up ultrasound in 4-6 weeks would be helpful to demonstrate resolution of this finding. ----my second altrasound report: 1. enlarged left ovary with complex appearance and enlargement of previously described intermediate level echo texture structure again possibly representing a complicated or hemorrhagic cyst or endometrioma but interval enlargement is noted and in addition an adjacent second smaller rounded intermediate level echo structure in now identified. Follow up evaluation of the left ovary is recommended. 2. small uterine fibroid with uterus otherwise unremarkable in appearance as is the right ovary.

-----Details of the second report: 1. endovaginal ultrasound demonstrates complex appearance of the left ovary with only a small amount of normal ovarian tissue seen posteriorly. 2. There is a large intermediate level echo structure, which again may represent complicated cyst or possibly endometrioma, which has demonstrated mild interval increase in size in comparison to patient’s prior study currently measuring 5.4 cm in greatest length. 3. There is an adjacent slightly irregular cyst with second smaller ovoid similar structure of intermediate echo texture measuring 2 cm in greatest dimension. 4. Doppler flow is identified within the thin layer of normal appearing left ovary along the posterior surface of the previously described adjacent soft tissue structure again either representing complicated cyst or possibly endometrioma with additional follow up recommended to re-evaluate. 5. right ovary is identified with small appearing cysts identified. The right ovary measures 2.6*2.4*2.2cm. small blunted hypoechoic structure is seen within the posterior body of the uterus compatible with a small fibroid, which was not noted on the prior exam. The endometrial stipe appears to drape over this region but is otherwise unremarkable with endometrial stripe measuring 7.6 mm at its thickest. The remainder of the uterus is unremarkable. There is no evidence for free fluid.
