Hi Barb: I asked my doctor about this because I was told it will only mask the issue. I said well if surgery is the best option why should I do the Lupron. I was told part of it was because if they do surgery they really have to "prove" to the insurance company that they have tryed all options. I do have less pain than without it. I would have rather skip the Lupron and go strieght for the surgery. I am not worried about trying to concieve. Elaine
