Re: Are Cysts a Normal Occurence?

Cysts can be completly normal. Follicle cysts development every month during ovulation. Follicle cysts can also collapse causing a persistent cyst for a period of several months. This happened to me and slowly but surely the cyst went away. There are bad cysts also, but if you just had a lap, the chance of it being an endometrioma or somehting of that nature is probably unlikely. My doc kept an eye on my cyst until he saw that it was shrinking. Have your doc do the same.
