Elsie, I am 19 and have the same problems. I was diagnoised this past July and my pain is back a little....not nearly as bad as before. Has your gynecologist started you on any treatment, like Lupron, Synarel, BCP, Deprovera? I would talk about that w/ your mom and your doctor asap...it helps w/ some people. I think it's worth a try. I am on Synarel and I have just minimal side effects. Synarel is expensive and it's a nasal spray. Hopefully, your parent's insurance company does cover it! Remember that anytime you need to vent or ask any questions, we are here! If you want a doctors opinion or another ones....there is doctors in the women's forum that answer questions on their free time. There is a lot of great people out there that want to help! I know that I have two great supportive doctors... my family doc and gynecologist.....make sure that you have a good support system...you could see if their is a endo support group close to home that you can go to, check out the Endo association or your local hospital. You could even ask your gynecologist too! Email me anytime if you need support or just to vent, I'm here!

>HI Elsie!  I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing the same thing we all are at such a young age....but I completely feel your pain.  I'm 22 now and have also had endo since I was 16.   I was just "officially" diagnosed Nov. 01...no one believed me either.   I had my first lap March 7th 2002 and it's back again worse than before.   Just hang in there, we all believe you.  When I was alone and needed to talk, this site and all the wonderful ladies here listened to me vent my frustrations....believe it or not, it helped me a lot.  I got to tell someone my worries and pain and they were all very wonderful.  I hope you find as much comfort in this site as  I do.
