The problem I have had is with the entire hospital system's administration, to the point of making formal complaints. If it wasn't for the care I am receiving from my physicians, I would ask for a referral off base. Those who have Tricare Prime are entitled to that. I am not sure how the other Tricare programs work. I am not an aggressive person, but have learned to be in a coothful way. Keep being persistent, maintain a personal medical journal, and make copies of your records. If you don't obtain the care you need from the medical facility you are at, seek the necessary steps to be seen at another. It is up to us to take care of our individual health needs. Also, remember, that not all military medical doctors are bad. In fact, there are many civilian ones who are prior military. I hope I have helped somewhat. Amy
