You should never feel pathetic- I to would be very scared if they found a mass. Are they planning on doing a biopsy- they would be your best bet to know if it is cancer. Normally when they say it cannot be ruled or excluded out means that someone needs to do a biopsy and have it sent to a lab. Have you discussed this with your doctor. Lots of Luck.
