Hi Sarah, I just caught your message regarding Danazol as part of a new treatment. I have loads of history with tha drug. In my 30's I took large doses to quell the endo in the hopes of increasing fertility(Ultimately it worked. One child.) I took large doses again in my 40's when the endo started "talking" again ( stage IV endo). For the past several years, I have been on a low dose of danocrine, 50 mg 2x per day. It is just enough to stop my menses. This has kept me quite comfortable. On high doses I had some extra heat, but no real hot flashes. No weight gain or acne. At age 52 some facil hair, but it runs in my family anyways. It has been a reasonable maitenance solution for me.
