Btroost: Gallbladder problems could cause acid stomach???! I actually had one doc suggest that gallbladder contractility could cause problems but I thought he was referring to nausea -- I guess I should email him to ask him whether it could also cause a gastric stomach problem. My stomach has this tendency to just drop loads of gastric acid -- this starts with even the first sip of water I drink in the morning. Have used one of the reflux drugs to calm it down but would like to know the *cause* so that the *cause* could be treated rather than treating the symptoms. If you have guess, I'd love to hear it. BTW, do you have any knowledge re thyroid? My TSH reads normal but my T4 and T3 are not "normal" (maybe my tests were affected by the great deal of brocolli and cauliflower which I eat? lol I'm pretty desperate for answers lol I want my hair!)????? I would have seriously considered that its the thyroid causing my hair thinning/brittle hair BUT my hair thins mostly on the sides of the head and the back of the crown (isn't that the pcos hair thinning hallmark?). I've really got to figure out what to do about the hairthinning problem. I've read that estrogen usually helps women maintain their hair, so I'm wondering whether I need to boost my estrogen BUT then I will flare my endo!!! UGH -- wish I had the answer.
