We are on the MS Gulf Coast at Keesler AFB. I am so sorry that you are not getting the help you need. I think that the Tricare Prime Rep. is wrong. We have the right to see someone off base. I would keep pressing as frustrating as that is. Call every single person you can...go above heads if need be. Do y'all have a 1st shirt at your husband's squadron? I know the Army uses different terminology, but you probably understand what I am talking about. It is ridiculous what we have to go thru. I will keep you in my prayers as cliche as that may sound.

>>Dear Sarah,

I have recently been diagnosed with Endo, and have been blessed with a PCM and Gyn at a large military hospital who care and are open minded. The problem I have had is with the entire hospital system's administration, to the point of making formal complaints. If it wasn't for the care I am receiving from my physicians, I would ask for a referral off base. Those who have Tricare Prime are entitled to that. I am not sure how the other Tricare programs work. I am not an aggressive person, but have learned to be in a coothful way. Keep being persistent, maintain a personal medical journal, and make copies of your records. If you don't obtain the care you need from the medical facility you are at, seek the necessary steps to be seen at another. It is up to us to take care of our individual health needs. Also, remember, that not all military medical doctors are bad. In fact, there are many civilian ones who are prior military. I hope I have helped somewhat. Amy
