Depo Provera 8 x per year? Previous message: Mindy: "Re: What is candida?" I have been using Depo Provera for about 6 weeks now. From the day of my first shot I experienced a major reduction in pain. I started spotting about 10 days ago and did have cramps for a weekend, but nothing that anaprox couldn't handle. My bladder pain seems to have increased since the spotting began though my doctor is skeptical that it is even caused by endo so I wasn't sure what to make of that. I was posting re: a related issue on the womens health forum and the doctor said that if I was bleeding at all the depo wasn't working. I have heard that for endo depo provera is sometimes used every 6 weeks instead of every 12. Does doubling the dose also double the appetite? Does anyone have any experience here? I had just figured that over time the spotting and pain would cease however the doctors comment leads me to believe at the regular dose it won't help me.
