I think your doctor is a bit confused, I have been on Provera for the treatment of Endo for a very long time. Provera is designed to block two female hormones from being produced by the body, which in turn prevents (in most cases) the disease from growing. Provera STOPS EVERYTHING, including periods, it does not start periods.

Go back to your doctor and get the right prescription.
