Hi Karen: I am sorry to hear about your cyst and I hope that the pain subsides. The first time that I saw Dr. Macmillan was in May I think and I had my laperoscopy on Sept 30. I got in for surgery about a month early on a cancellation. However, it was only determined in August that I would have the laperoscopy so the wait wasn't as long as it sounded. Before scheduling the laperoscopy he wanted to first rule out the possibility that I had a bladder disorder via urodynamics testing. I didn't bring anything file wise other than the referral because my referring doctor said that Dr. Macmillan would want to start all over. However, all I had done was ultrasounds at that point. I waited about 5 months to see him so I guess by then, it makes more sense to start over. If you are getting into more extensive and expensive tests, I would make sure that you have the results there so that you don't have to go through it all over again unless absolutely necessary. Let me know if you want to know anything else Karen and I hope you feel better. Amanda
