I'm curious as to what the answer might be myself. My periods have
always started out brown with a maybe two days of red bleeding and then
another few days of brown. I have also noticed that since the birth of
my second daughter the the brown discharge is always thicker and the
cycles last much longer. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for info on
this one too.
