endometreosis and uterosacral ligaments

Hi, I've just started seeing a gynocolgist and they think I have endometreosis. She wants to operate (laproscopy) which is fine but also wants to cut me uterosacral ligaments to decrease the severe pain as she says these are pain transferes and my uterosacral ligaments are tighter than they should be. Are there any side affects from having the uterosacral ligaments cut. Does it affect future pregnancy, birth or sex? Also they think I have previously suffered from polycystic ovarian disease. They can see some small cysts on my ovaries. They won't remove the cysts as it could cause more damage to them more and my main concern is fertility. However she said these may be causing problems with my hormone levels and therefore my irregular cycles. I assume this will still occur as they are not removing the cysts. What can be done to help with this?
