I am supposed to receive my first shot of Lupron this week. My doctor's office called my insurance company before they would even order the Lupron to make sure that they would cover it. They have agreed to cover it under "medical necessity". It is very expensive! I think she told me the going rate was $400/injection. I had no idea that you could get free injections. I'd like to know more about that. Anyways, maybe you could have your doctor's office contact your insurance and try to have it covered as a medical necessity. Good luck!
