Recuperating from Surgery!

Hello Angels,

Well I had surgery on the 24th. All went well. The doctor ended up having to do a laparotomy. So I have a small incision in the belly button and a six inch incision in the bikini area. The surgery took almost three and a half hours, my doctor said that they DID find the ovarian remnant and it was wrapped all in endo and had a cyst on it and they also found more endo in the vaginal cuff. After removing everything mentioned, my doctor feels that she would like to wait a few weeks before starting me on any HRT. Well I was released the next evening because I was doing well at the hospital. Tuesday night I did well, until early Wednesday morning when the nausea started. As far as the pain is, it's really not that bad, I'm only taking the medicine when I really need it. However the nausea comes and goes. I haven't been able to keep much down until today. I called the doctor last night and they said that it was a side effect from the epidural procedure that they performed after I was put under to minimize the pain. Although it did help with the pain, I wish that I wasn't so nauseated. So I've been tolerating popsicles. It has been a little rough since Thursday because my husband left for a trip he has been planning for six months to Canada. I really miss him. He tried to cancel it, but I wouldn't let him. He has called me three times since he left. I also miss my girls. My mom and my sister thought it would be easier on me if they took turns taking care of them. Also I'm getting out of the house today, my grandmother is picking me and my puppy up to come and stay with her a day or so plus I get to see my girls! Sorry this is so long! Thanks for Listening.
