Re: Can Someone Suggest a Low Dose BC Pill? From: Help (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Jun 28 21:01:05 2002
Again, each person is different, but I was prescribed Yasmin and over the short course of taking that, I experienced one of its side effects (nervousness) and ended up with a blood pressure of 169/120 (NO, I do not have high blood pressure). My body did not react well with it. I'm sure I was the 1% of adverse reactions :) DON'T let what I'm saying scare you, just pay attention to your body. You will know when you're body is saying, WHOA, I am not liking this. At that time, you should consult with your physician and speak to him/her about it. Many women have to try different BCP's before finding the right one for them. I too have had many difficulties with taking the pill. Just make sure you are conversing with your doctor. You know your bodily reactions more than they do at times.
