When I had two giagantic ovarian cysts/tumors removed there was an gyn-oncologist there. In matter of fact, he was the one that saved me from having a full hysterectomy. So you might want to have an oncologist there b/c their surgery techiques are usually more advance b/c of the complexity of their cases. I am forever thankful for my oncologist, Dr. Sharma. I hope that helps!
