Hi, Please read my reply to someone else concerning Lupron. Its important. You can find my message on June 21st as a re:Lupron. It's the second message. About the surgery, it really isnt a big deal at all. I just had my 2nd laser surgery/Lap a week ago and I was up and at em the next day. Ask for more pain med. than the stuff the puts you to deep sleep, so your not real fuzzy mentally afterward. If they find Endo, make sure the Dr. will and is comfortable doing laser surgery to remove it, if it can be removed this way in your case. You may have more pain in your shoulders than down below, due to gases that are involved in the surgery. I'm sure the Dr. will tell you this. In the past, I have gone through meds. that I wouldn't advise to anyone. Laser surgery kept me pain free for 2 1/2 yrs. until I just had another. Also, you can email me directly if you like: Rosebella19@hotmail.com, and I'll give you my # over email if you want someone to walk you through what to expect. Take things one step at a time. Don't be scared of the Lap. surgery. It's a relief to know you don't create this in your head and a real bonus if you wake up and Endo's all gone (laser). P.S. Educate your man on the subject, sounds like he needs to understand what you're going through. Get the Endometriosis Sourcebook to learn more. Good luck, Amanda
