Thanks for your response Lynne. I have used Anaprox for years too but my doctor is always encouraging me to try new ones as they come out because he said that the stomach damage is more likely with Anaprox though I am not sure why. I also have Torodol but I rarely use it because a previous doctor told me once that it should be used sparingly, though again I wasn't sure why. This conversation made me decide to do my homework! I went the manufacturers websites of Anaprox (also Aleve) and Toradol. I learned that the maximum daily dosage of Aleve is 3 pills which is 600mg of Naproxen and 60mg of sodium. The maximum daily dosage of Anaprox DS is 1100mg. Anaprox DS (dark blue) is aparantly the one that is best used for cramps because it uniquely has "increased aqueous solubility of sodium salt" and therefore is aparantly faster acting then both "Aleve" and "Naproxen." The risk data wasn't to clear to me. As far as Toradol goes, it appears to be completely different- Ketorolac tromethamine. According to the manufacturer Roche Pharmaceuticals "It is NOT indicated for minor or chronic painful conditions. TORADOL is a potent NSAID analgesic, and its administration carries many risks." It also states that it should not be used for more than 5 consecutive days. My understanding is that among the risks are stomach bleeding and ulcers which I believe is true of Anaprox too, isn't it? Does anyone have any comparative info here? However, these are all manufacturer recommendations- I am sure some people are told it is ok to take Aleve in larger doses or use Toradol for longer periods of time. Quality of life is important too of course. Anyway I just thought I would share my knowledge with anyone who maybe had wondered about this before too. Have a great day! Amanda
