My 1st Lap. showed a ton of Endo and none was removed. I got on Aygestin (half tablet in morning and half tablet at night) for about six months, which stopped my periods. Then after six months, I had 2nd Lap and there was hardly anything there to laser out. My pain was gone for a little over 2 yrs. Then last week I had another Lap/Laser surgery. I guess I'm good for another few years. Aygestin did not give me any mood problems. I think I was easier to get along with on it. I did have some problems with dryness, even down below and some sharpness during sex, but no real pain. The shapness was helped with a numbing gel called Lidocain. It's a little weird having to work that into your sex life, but its better than no sex at all. I would opt for laser surgery and prepare for it with Aygestin. It was worth it. Don't take Lupron! Ok, there's my input, good luck._Amanda
