Hi Katie and Emily,

I do not know which of you to respond to. I am 22 yrs. old and I don't mean to scare you about Lupron. (It may work for some)I had five of the six shots of Lupron in 1999 and it was terrible. Driving was crazy. I got to the point where I would forget where I was driving to or what I set out to do. For me long term memory problems also occured, and this is on top of hot flashes, moodiness, crazy emotions, and sweats. It took a while before my head was together again. After all this, Endo still returned and last week I had my 2nd laser surgery. My last surgery took away my pain for a little over 2 yrs. (great for me)Other thing to keep in mind with Lupron is to watch your bone density.(Get it checked)After Lupron I have ten crowns on my teeth. (Dr. that gave me Lupron said it couldn't have been from Lupron, but I think it was because my bone density went down so much) Also, sex drive is affected with meds. Lupron is a scary step for anyone. If you still want it, best of luck to you, but know that Lupron is not the only answer. My Dr. now did laser surgery and it went great and it's something I can live with. Best of luck, Amanda
