It is too bad that people are being discouraged by hostility from
discussing things that they have heard or read simply because it does
not match one person's expereince. Try not to be so self absorbed as to
think your personal experience is the limit of variation.

My grandmother and mother both had hysts, lived long lives without HRT and never got those dieases. I've also had a hyst, am 45, ,just had a complete physical and am completely healthy. In my case , hysterectomy turned out to be a godsend. For those still in pain, I offer my prayers.
