Emily,
I was so glad to hear from you. ADA is a wonderful research need. We should
be prepared when we speak to an Employer. I was not aware that Endo was
protected by the ADA. THANKS! This will help us when we are able to apply
for another job.
I have lost 2 jobs b/c of Endo. One told me "You can longer miss work to see
a doctor. Please try to see them before or after work." I worked 8-5, M-F,
What doctor will see me before 8am (with time to make it to work before 8
am) or after 5 pm (including rush hour)? The other asked "Can we count on
you to make it here EVERYDAY!". If I'm in the ER, how can I make it to work!
Jessica
