But the pain was as bad as it coud get all thro this period. Now my doctor asked me to take a break from Depo for a few months so that my body gets some estrogen back since my bones are going too weak. She says i have to give a break for at least 2 cycles. So i stopped the depo. Now even though i haven't begun to bleed, the pain has come back with a vengeance. Its so horrible that i feel totally utterly helpless. I saw my doctor about this and she says my only option in surgery is a procedure called Pre Sacral Neurectomy. In normal words it is a procedure where all pain receptive nerves in the lower abdominal are cut so that pain signals cannot be sent to the brain. She says only a few doctors have the expertise in this area and honestly i have read a horde of possible treatment options for Endo but never came across this. Has anyone of you heard ! >about it? If so can you tell me if it has any drawbacks! I am so horrified about this entire thing since no amount of painkillers are helping the pain effectively. So i am wondering if i do have to go in for this option, But before that i wanted to put in a word to find out all the possible info i can on this. Thanks to you all for listening b'cos i know without you all i would have given up a long time back. You arealways in my prayers. Love and hugs > >Geetha > Yes, I have heard of this and the resulting relief seems to vary. Please check out http://www.natural-progesterone-advisory-network.com and consider giving this extremely safe alternative treatment a try before you commit to more surgery. I have had my endo completely controlled for the last 8 years this way and many other women are also having a great deal of success with it. There are no side effects and it would certainly be worth a try. Take care. BJ
