Re: endometriose girl from the Netherlands.From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jun 13 22:53:41 2002
Dear Annamiek and Lieke: Welcome to you both :o)! Your english is superb! It is I who is embarrassed that I don't speak dutch lol. Annamiek, I haven't tried Zoladex so I can't help you with your question, but I did want to welcome you. For me, surgery and dietary changes have made the biggest difference re pain. Excess caffeine, tea, DAIRY, phytoestrogens (soy, beans, estrogenic vegetables and herbs, tofu, etc.), chocolate, maybe garlic, olive oil/olives, high-fat foods, evening primrose oil, etc. all flare my pain. I usually eat salads, vegetables, fish, muffins :o), fruit, etc.. One thing great about Europe is that you are much more strict re poisons/insecticides sprayed on your vegetables, and are also opposed to injecting hormones in your cows/meat thus sparing your bodies of xenoestrogens.
