Amanda, I used to have that kind of bleeding sometimes. It's called breakthrough bleeding. And sometimes it can be caused by the type of birth control pill you are on when it happens. That's just one reason, and this was why I had a lot of it at one time. Every once in a while like Sat I might spot some and that will be the result of stress. I did have a D&C but not for the breakthrough bleeding. I had it done for diagnostic purposes when I had my second laparoscopy 3 years ago.
