I just wanted to let everyone know I had what I consider to be a successful lap and wonderful experience last tuesday and am healing up nicely. We ended up only having to use the laparascopic procedure (not the laparotomy!) YEAH YEAH HALLELUJAH!!! My doctor showed me pictures and I had no idea that my ovary could be stretched so big. It looked the size of a very large white mango and when seen next to my intact "normal" small walnut ovary a mango is massive. It was an endometrial cyst and he says he was able to excise the entire cyst wall, get rid of the endo in other places and that I had minimal adhesions! I'm so happy. I also used this experience to get through a lot of fear around hospitals and relying on people and letting love in so all in all I'm just thrilled. Thank you to each one of you for your help through all of this. Now comes the long road of trying to get my body balanced so it never returns again, I can have healthy and happy babies, and live a pain free life! I'm excited to be heading down this road.
