Re: progesterone cream question???

Hi,

My experience with progesterone cream may differ from yours. I have had a total hyst with both ovaries removed. Except, I have ovarian remnant syndrome and endo and I am perimenopausal.

If you still have functioning ovaries (even a small amount like mine), oily skin and acne are more related to testosterone levels, not progesterone - not much you can do about that. I still get oily skin and a few pimples if I ovulate, whether I use the cream or not.

I don't think it is doing much to help with the endo pain, but it does seem to help with my mood because my PMS had become very, very bad. I am not producing much progesterone by myself, partly because I am not ovulating much and when I do ovulate, the time between ovulation and my cycle starting had decreased from about 12 days to 9 days.

The progesterone cream does seem to extend the time between ovulation to cycle.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes, D.N.
