Carol... I know your pain in both ways...When I was in college a few weeks ago, I had to go to the ER and well, I got the worst doctor in the whole damn hospital. As he was doing the "internal exam" and shoving the spectulum in my vagina I was screaming in pain and telling him to stop....HE DIDN'T! I walked out of the hospital not only in a lot more pain then when I walked in and A VERY LARGE BILL IN MY MAILBOX TWO DAYS LATER!!!!! AND CRAPPY PAIN KILLERS.....What town/area do you live in? I know that there are some great doctors in the Chicagoland area....I went to the ER in Indiana....South Bend. I have an amazing GYN that has really been supportive and eager as I am to find an answer/explanation from all this pain! Take care and hang in there....there are good docs out there, they are just hard to find.....unfortunatly!
