Re: Endometriosis stage 4 - terminal?

I have read that some people do die of complications related to
endometriosis, though uncommon. Several women die each year from
eptopic pregnancies which are common in endo patients and apparantly
cysts can rupture and block intestines or ureters causing sudden death.
I have not read how endo affects the central nervous system but it
wouldn't surprise me that it can. There have been cases documented of
endo in the lungs and brain. In addition, early surgical hysterectomy
has been linked to both heart disease, and cancer. Even if your friend
is not technically dying...she may very well feel like she is. Perhaps
she needs some compassion as much or more than she needs the 10 grand. I
hope things improve for her.
