have you tried this one for pain? From: Carol (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed May 29 01:56:19 2002
I was in alot of pain the other day. I went into the hospital cause i coulndt even take wight on my feet. It caused the most horrific pain like a tearing burning feeling. Anyway they did a transvag u/s. the tech had me place a very dense pad under my back pelic area. it ran down from the hip to bottonm of bottocks and a little farther. It probally was 1-1 1/2" thick. Man it relived the pressure off my pelivc and relived the pain better than and vicoden. Ive been trying it at home since. Although its not a full cure it does end the cramping in the hip joints and shooting pain in cervix as well as the leg cramps ans uterine cramps. Of course if you move around (on your feet) itll come back. The key seems to be complete support so you dont feel like youll fall and laying flat with only our bottom elvated. although i have placed a pillow under my head neck while on floor and got pretty much the same.
