Someone please help me...I am begging....I have had abdominal pain on and off again since I was 14,I have had a total of 8 laparoscopies for endometriosis and ovarian cysts and nothing has helped, not depo, lupron or any type of "pill", I am now 21 and the pain has for the most part been constant for about 2 1/2 years, and I have now been sent to see a specialist at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta to find out if I am a candidate for a presacral neurectomy. I go to see the Dr on Friday, May 31st to schedule the surgery, and go over everything....but I want to know what I can expect after the surgery...pain post-operatively....size of incision (is it like a regular laparascopy?)....how long should I expect to be out of work (tends to take me a while to heal)....since I have to have the surgery in Atlanta and I live in Savannah, when will I be able to make that drive back home....I just want to know anything anyone can tell me about what I will go through, with this surgery....please...I have searched all I can think of and everything is always scientific findings, and statistics, I don't want that. I want to be told in lamen's terms what exactly is going to happen to me... Thank you
