UTI symptoms 1-2 weeks before period

I just last week went to the hospital for what I felt was one of the worst Urinary Tract Infections I had ever had. After spending 8 hours in the emergency room the Doctor told me to my surprise that my urine came back pretty normal. I was devastated as I have suffered from chronic uti's since age 8. I am now 26 and have been going through some other things as well. What concerns me is that I have been starting to notice a pattern right around the time of my period and the onset of what I think to be a uti. I am seeing a wonderful OBGYN and just got off the phone with him and told him what was going on. He thinks that many of my symptoms might be caused by endometriosis. I have always had painful deep penetrating vaginal sex(what I call feels like the guy is "botomming out") and have always had pretty severe cramps more on the left side. I have had more abnormal paps than normal and can't seem to judge just how long my period will last. I get severely constipated before my period and have diarrea during. I started my period when I was 9 and so I got a pretty early starting to all of this. I remember my mom taking me to the doc after my first 5 periods telling him that I complained of sever cramps while on my period, his response was that it was probably just mental because women don't start to get cramps until after they have had their period for more than a year. So we just dealt with it the best way we could. Then when I was 16 and I didn't even know this until looking through my med recs. I had some procedure done where they dialated my cervix and checked for what the wrote as endometritis, which to my surprise was never followed up on. I then had my first child when I was 19 while I was pregnant in my 3rd month they froze my cervix due to a cyst that was growing there. After my daughter was born I had it removed via LEEP then the real heavy bleeding and even more painful periods came, Lasted for a few years and then stopped. About 2-3 months after the painful periods subsided there was a breif intermission about a month and then I became pregnant with my 2nd child. When my second child was about 4 months old (no painful periods mind you) I found out I was pregnant again with my 3rd child. After he was born in March of 2000 I went on Birth control pills. The pills made me feel sick and after having tried many Birth control methods after my 1st child was born I decided to just wing it and if I became pregnant again after that birth I would have a hysterectomy, since I had a OB once tell me to get5 my child rearing out by the time I was 25 and then have a hysterectomy. So anyway I stopped the BC and about 2 months later not only did the painfull periods return but on came all the other symptoms I have already mentioned as well as in Oct. 2000 I started having severe Panic attacks which were enhanced about a week before my period. Im not quite sure what I feel I need to accomplish by telling you all my story but it is just as well to get input from others suffering from what my OB thinks I could have. On Thursday I am going in for exploratory laproscopy, I will keep my head high but I am puzzled as to why it has taken so long to get here. To everyone who suffers from this my heart goes out to you. God Bless.......
