Searching for Doctors in Tucson and Phoenix Area with experience in endometriosis treatmentsFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue May 21 22:44:53 2002
I am looking for doctors either in the Tucson or Phoenix area with experence in treating endometriosis. I am currently on depo provera and have found a lot of information reguarding depo provera "horror stories" and am confused with all the horrible publicity that is coming from these women who say depo provera has ruined their life. I haven't experienced all of the "horrible" symptoms that some of these women have, but those that I have experienced are a nice change from the intense pain associated with endo. If anyone has heard of studies (controlled studies) about women (with endo or without) who have used depo provera and have had their side effects studied I would appreciate knowing about them. I have a theory that many of these side effects are not a direct cause of the depo and I would like to hear some medical opinions on this. All these women say that the doctors are against them and they don't inform them of all the horrible things that can happen. I want to know if these women are the majority or the minority and I would also like some referels for endometriosis specialists in my area (southern arizona). Thank you for your time. -Cari C.
