First of all, let me say you're "friend" is not much of a friend! All
you need is for someone to stay overnight, get you a drink or some food
if need be, and just to keep you company. There's not much to it! It's
not like you'll be bedridden! I was back at work 1 week after my first
laparoscopy and back to work 10 days after the second one and I had
severe endo with 4 incisions made on my belly! You'll just feel sore,
and you may get pain in your shoulders due to the gas but it's not that
bad. It just depends on your body.
So good luck, and take it easy.
