Can you tell me how many years a teenager should be on birth control pills after they have had laser surgery for Endo. The person had laser surgery at 19 and they have been on birth control for the last seven years with no period.

The doctor has not seen the patient in the last six years his nurse assistant always examins her.

The doctor told the mother that do you want her to have pain again if I take her off the pill?

The patient is very concerned what the pill might be doing since she has taken the pill continiously for so long.

Dr seens unconcerned and deems it necessary.

Can you give me any feedback as to is this good for a young girl that has never had a family but would like to some day.

What step would be appropriate to take at this point?

Any information would be appreciated at this is a daily concern.

Thank you
