Kristy: The produce at out the Whole Food Stores cost about the same as the produce from the other mass market supermarkets. Try going to the Whole Foods supermarket -- you'll love the produce section -- its great. If you wish, you can buy your other staples at your local supermarket/warehouse club stores. Also, Whole Foods has a great bulk section. Try it, you'll like it lol.
