Re: bizarre ultrasoundFrom: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue May 14 09:31:19 2002
Lynne, When I had a transvaginal sonogram done on March 18th, I took my pain medicine before it was done and it's a good thing I did. When I came home though I had a lot of cramping afterward. The reason I did was b/c of how tender my organs are thanks to the endo. I'm wondering if this might be something that could be helpful for you if you ever have to do it again. Also, I'm wondering if maybe in your case the abdominal sonogram would show up better for you even though transvaginal sonograms do a better job of trying to find gyn related issues. If you have any questions about what medicine I used for my pain pls let me know and feel free to e-mail me off the list. Also, I noticed that you are in Missouri. Where are you in MO? I have a friend there that is trying to find a new dr. ===== Kristy :) Unit Clerk for Mother/Baby Dept at Shands Jacksonville, Jacksonville, FL http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html Hoping to be a nurse soon but for now just a Medical Secretary who does a lot of learning from reading on the Net, books, my dr(s), as well as sharing my own personal experiences.
