Hello~

I am hoping to get some advice from anyone out there. I was diagnosed w/ endo abt 2 1/2 yrs ago. I have tried everything that my Dr.s can think of to combat the pain. I had an amazing Dr, but a job transfer out of the state that I was living in has forced to me find a new Dr. I have been to a new Dr abt every 2 mths since I moved 1 yr ago. I have finally found a Dr that I think I like, but she's definitely old fashioned....To make a VERY long story short, the meds that I have tried for pain management are not working. I had an allergic reation to Lupron, which rules out any GnRH agonist, I tried Depo Provera, and that didn't do anything to help, and after ANOTHER 6 month stint on yet another type of birth control pill, I ended up in the ER on Monday. The soonest that I could get in to see my GYN is tomorrow, Monday. I want to have another lap, since that is what I have had the most success with. I was pain free for abt a year with my last (and initial) laparoscopy. I know that my Dr is reluctant to perform any additional surgeries on her patients...her statement, " I see no need to do any surgeries beyond the intial surgery for diagnosis." Any ideas on letting her know that this is the best option for me? I tend to chicken out when I go to the Dr., after all, we're taught they know best, right? Also if anyone knows of a great Dr in the Phoenix/Tucson (AZ) area, please let me know. Feel free to e-mail me privately @ MandKWedding@aol.com

Thanks, Kathy
