Confused about male endo

From: Ana (anonymous@obgyn.net)

Last night I was watching TIME/LIFE Health video on Endometriosis and a question kinda popped up I never thought about before. If endometrium is the lining of the uterus, and endometriosis is when the endometrium tissue is found outside of the uterus, how do men get endo? Obviously, they do not have a uterus. I realize dr's are not sure of the exact cause of endo, but they seem to have a general idea about it. Does anyone know the answer to this question? *HUGS* ~ANAGet more from the Web.
