Re: Need HelpFrom: Ana (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun May 5 13:16:55 2002
This e-mail may come out sounding judgemental and that is not what I want you to think I am being at all, I am just trying to get the whole story so I can offer you the best advice I can. I will tell you a little about me first so maybe you will be more comfy sharing this with me. I am almost 20 and was diagnosed with endo when I was 16. I have had 2 laps and been on numerous meds. I am in school currently and am married (got married exactly a week ago). You said you have been trying to get p-g for 7 years which if I do my math correctly you started at 18. Did you do this out of the advice of doctors? Are you married? Are you financially ready for a child. For about a half a year my husband and I tried to get pregnant and then we realized that right now we are not ready. All these dr's have been telling me that I need to have kids young so I know what it is like to wonder about this and to cry when I get my period. We actually decided whether I end up being able to have kids or not we will still adopt. Maybe that is for you, maybe not. Anyways, hopefully you will e-mail me back so I get a clearer picture. I know I am young, but believe me I have been through enough with this disease to offer some advice. *hugs* ~ANA
>----- Original Message ----- Hi everyone!! I stumbled upon this site well doing a search for info. I have never really been to any support groups or talked to anyone about my health concerns. I am 25 yrs. old and I was diagnosted with Endo 2 years ago. I also have PCOS and was diagnosted with that about 4 yrs ago. I have been seriously trying to get pregnant for 7 years now. Well, at this point I don't know where to go or what to do. I have been told many times you are young you have time. But, that doesn't help the depression that I get everytime I get my period. I have been through a number of operation and frankly hate the sight of a doctors office. I had a lap. done 1 1/2 ago and did not know the seriousness of my endo until that time. I go in and out of wanting to go to the Doctor and I think I know why I just get so depressed after a year or two of struggling with the doctors. I feel as if I go I will be diagnosed with something else. I have never really talked to anyone about this and thought after reading some of your posts that some of you may be able to help or give some suggestions. I would like to know if any of you have gone natural and taken some kind of natural therapy for endo? And if so, have any of you gotten preg.? Thanks for letting me vent bint Dean
