endo in incisional scarFrom: Stefanie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Apr 28 14:11:53 2002
I guess my first attemp didnt post so here goes again. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with endo in c-section scars. I had a mass removed in May 2000, I had thought it to be an adhesion at first until it started growing and became VERY painful. I was immediately set up for surgery and told of the possiblities of it being some sort of a tumor, which scared me to death. It was biopsied and found to be endo. Since then I have had another occurance in the same general area as before except I have let this one go probably a little to long due to the fact that I am in almost constant pain. I dread going through another surgery as this will be my 5th incision in the same area (counting the 3 c-sections I have had). I am told that the endo is not growing in my uterus at this point but I do have several of the symptoms of endo along with the mass in my abdomin. If anyone else has been in a similar situation please share with me how you have coped with this. Thanks for you time,
-- Stefanie
