Kristy is absolutely right. You can let the doctor know that you want to have a lap. If he won't do it, get a second opinion!! and find one that will!!! Not all GYN's are experienced in Endo

The Open Sore feeling can be from Endo or possibly ulcers. OF course I am not a M.D., so I can not say either way. But that is a good reason to have a lap!
